Royal Bafokeng Capital (RBC), owned 51% by Royal Bafokeng Holdings (RBH) invests in small to medium companies and currently owns 65% of South African Coal Mining Holdings (SACMH) (Pty) Ltd (listed on the Johannesburg Securities Exchange) of Hard Rock Engineering (Pty) Ltd, 25.1% of Portswild Armature Winders (Pty) Ltd and 30% of Zaptronix.
RBC was formed on 1 March 2005 as a joint initiative between Royal Bafokeng Holdings and Gandalf Trust. In order to achieve its vision, RBC offers a total transformation solution that includes broad-based ownership and management empowerment, human resources development and social development initiatives.
