RBS holds 49.9% of Leopards Rugby (Pty) Limited, the professional arm of the North West Rugby Union.
Leopards Rugby is responsible for all the commercial and marketing activities of Leopards Rugby Union (LRU), including running the team that plays in the Currie Cup. LRU has a 74% stake in Leopards Rugby (SAIL has the other 26%) and administers amateur (schools and club rugby) throughout NW Province.
The Leopards Rugby Union is currently developing five coaching centers in the North West Province in areas, Potchefstroom, Klerkdorp, Vryburg, Mafikeng and Rustenburg each focusing on management, marketing and recruitment, clinics, facilities and human resources, rugby education for spectators and league development.
