Employee development

The RBH team is highly qualified. All mangers and directors have tertiary qualifications and relevant experience and expertise in their respective fields. Most employees have financial qualifications as well as investment management or corporate finance experience, which is core to our business. The 32-strong team includes seven members of the RBN.

In addition, RBS employs a further seven people in Phokeng of whom five are Bafokeng and three are women while Royal Bafokeng Enterprise Development (RBED) has 15 employees, including two interns. Of these 15 staff members, who are all black, nine are Bafokeng and nine are women.

The combined RBH, RBED and RBS workforce is 82% black, 51% female and 44% Bafokeng.

RBH prides itself on promoting the development of employees. An internal bursary scheme offers access to financial assistance with studies that are relevant to employees’ personal development within the business, at a recognised institution of their choice.
