Appointment of Chief Executive Officer for Royal Bafokeng's BRPM Joint Venture Holding Company

The shareholders of NewCo, Royal Bafokeng Holdings Ltd and Rustenburg Platinum Mines Limited, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Anglo Platinum Limited are pleased to announce that Steve Phiri, currently CEO of Merafe Resources Limited, will be joining NewCo as Chief Executive Officer with effect from 01 April 2010.
