Steve Phiri, currently Chief Executive Officer of Merafe Resources and a non–executive director of Royal Bafokeng Holdings Limited (RBH) has been appointed as a non–executive director to the Board of Impala Platinum Holdings Ltd (Implats). He joins fellow RBH non–executive director Thabo Mokgathla as the second RBH representative on the Implats Board. His appointment is in terms of the recently concluded BEE transaction between RBH and Implats, which entitles RBH to an additional Implats Board member.
